I will give you a little notice that this a short story. Now that you know it is short, let me tell you about this little book! Ms. Dragon really piqued my interest in her series Sweet Submission. She really heated things up…

For those of you that know me… and those that don’t this is my little statement about short books…. I do not judge short stories on the rush of their relationships, because they are just that – short stories. So, yes the relationships always could have been drawn out more, yea it seems like they fall in love to fast and of course the story could have been made longer… but it is a short story. So with that said…. here is my review…

With this being a short story, I do not want to give to much away. This is my first story by Ms. Jones but I am hoping this won’t be my last. She has created a world which intrigued me and delighted me but also scared me a bit. She crafted this story to make you want to see the revenge carried out but as you read, you will see that things truly are not what they seem…

Since this is a short story… the development of the story is short and it will leave you wanting more… Only because the story has so many twists and turns that you would want to know more… but what Ms. Jones gives you will be enough to satisfy you… The beast of the story will come out and the ending will shock you… but the characters… Well, they made the story what it is…

Morgan’s life took a turn for the worst the day her sister was murdered… All the purpose and joy of her life extinguished. Her life changed forever…. Where there was love is now replaced by revenge. She is determined to dish out exactly what was dished out to her sister… She wanted to hurt the man who she believed brutally murdered her twin sister…. What she never counted on was the monster that killed her sister…. He is a twin himself… So are things really what they seem to be…

Conall’s life was not all happiness and sunshine, but he was doing okay for himself. After hearing what his brother had done back in the States, he wanted like hell to believe it was not true… Hoping to drown out the night with a few beers at the local pub Conall’s life would never be the same after a fiery red headed woman turned his night upside down, inside out…

Morgan seeks out her sister’s killer… builds up her nerves to tackle the man she has stalked for so long… Deciding to take justice in her own hands… Morgan is ready for anything, but when the events of the night unfold and things turn out to be not what they should be… Morgan finds herself in quite the predicament. First, let me say that I have followed this series all the way through and get more involved as each story is told. Stephanie has created a world so deep that you will hear the crickets chirp in the woods, she has given so much detail to every aspect of each character and this story is no different.

Now, this is a short story so my review won’t give much away because I truly think you should read this series. I can’t say with a 100% heart that you could read this book out of order or alone. Don’t get me wrong, Stephanie does make sure to tell you who and what has been going on so you aren’t lost, but knowing the whole family on a one on one basis is better than just getting a glance into their lives.

Race has always been the elusive one… The one that doesn’t give you much to work with but oh my goddess is this man – ALL man! And wolf too 😉 He knows his position in the pack and he knows that above all else, family comes first. So when he requests to become protector of a woman and her baby – he is overcome with a sense of possessiveness that he is not sure how to handle… But one thing is for sure; baby and mama have this big hunk of a man wrapped around their little finger…

Mara has been through hell and back. I mean, really. My heart goes out to her from all that she has survived. Not to mention that she escaped unharmed and her baby was delivered into this world knowing love. Mara doesn’t trust easily – hell she doesn’t trust at all, but she’s learning that she has too…. But one man, without a doubt, she trusts – Race. She is trying to understand more of her world everyday; but understanding it and living it are two different things, things Mara is learning how to deal with. But with a man like Race by her side, she knows she can face the world… Together. A word that she is not sure she likes…

These two are tying this story together very nicely… The more you read, the more you understand the coming war and the importance of taking care of your own kind. Mara and Race aren’t the only ones in this fight but they are missing pieces to the puzzle…. Together, they will find out things that maybe… Just will be the undoing of them… Before they even get started. Can walls come down? Can love really make the world change? Will these two find out what the meaning of “having your back” really means? If you want to know, you will have to read!

I am a huge Lissa Matthew’s fan. If you come to my place you will know this! Her stories take me away to a place that – sometimes, I need to be. The world she allows me to escape to is riveted with lust, passion, desire… Her stories are filled with men that will make you want to lick them from head to toe and women that will do just that for you… She gives me everything I need for my heart to race, my panties…. well… Let’s just say that she lives up the Naughty part!

She will tickle your senses with the humor she instills in her characters. She will show you some wicked, powerful desires that runs amuck in her story! Some Like It Wicked is no different…. Well, it is different… because a witch saves a demon…. Or is it a demon saving a witch…

Bryanna is a witch that is not like any other witch… She is an elemental witch… She is connected through the Earth. She should be able to conjure spells with a flick of the wrist and produce flowers, fire… even clothes… But Bryanna is a witch that is a bit different. This story is such a, I would say sweet but that is not strong enough. I mean, this is a sweet tale of how one man wants to save one soul and one witch who just wants to be saved… But this is so much more… This story is filled with some wicked magic, some hot teasing loving, some action that you will not want to miss and some sweet romancing that is – well… just to sweet! I enjoyed the journey of Bryanna and was glad she let me on the ride with her….

If she were a normal Earth Witch, she could conjure magic to stop the dirty water from hitting her. Sadly, she was anything but normal. Instead, she braced herself, shut her eyes and waited for the deluge.

When she opened her eyes, she discovered her violet-streaked long black hair dripping around her. Looking down at her black corset, she found it completely soaked and dirt particles marred her flesh. “That’s it!” she shrieked to the sky above. “I’ve had enough!”

At the low, velvety voice, Bryanna jerked her head toward the car, looking at back door of the black Dodge Challenger, which was open. Get in the car with a stranger? Or stay in these soaked clothes, with a broken heel on my boot?

With her continuing limp, Bryanna approached the car, then settled into the backseat.

“Thank you for stopping.” As she leaned against the back of the seat, she noticed she was dripping dirty water along the expensive black leather. “Perhaps this was a bad idea. I’m ruining your seat.”

“It’s only a car,” the driver stated.

Glancing up from her soaked clothes, Bryanna examined her savior. He stared out the front windshield, but then looked at her in the rearview mirror, and she sucked in a harsh breath. It wasn’t his appearance that worried her. His short dark-brown hair, the broad set of his shoulders and even his nicely defined arms filling his pale-blue T-shirt looked incredibly nice. But it was what lay in the depths of his coal-black eyes that terrified her.

“The name is Zeke.” He flashed a grin that, if she hadn’t been frightened, might have been sexy. At her silence, he chuckled, put the car in gear and then drove down the road.

She wraps her words around you, she laces you up in passion and she takes you on a journey through your naughtiest dreams… She will being them to life for you!

This story is only different because it is considered to be “exotica,” where there is pleasure galore but not a happily ever -we get married- after ending… But I can promise you – there is a happy ending! This is also a Quickie story – hence the short story warning.

If you have visited my blog in the past, you know that I have read a few of Ms. Cassidy’s book and I thoroughly enjoyed them… She does a great job at developing her the world she is going to put you in… She brings details out to make sure you feel surrounded by the words you are reading. She makes you feel enveloped in the passion. And she does the same in Total Depravity…

This is a short story but it is packed with so much emotion. Natasha’s emotions roll off her and off the pages… She will saturate you with her depressed life… She will bring you the brink of non-exsistence but pull you out.

This is a great story with a lot of twist and turns… This story twist around and turns and brings you around… It will tempt you and tease you and surprise you.. Believe me, there is an ending I did not see coming. The vampires live on her fear… But the wolf… He lives on something all together different…

There is one part of the story that left me kinda ew, but it was quickly done. But it did not take away from the story line nor leave a bad taste in my mouth for the story…

So over all, this story was very good and really interesting!! This story will definitely leave you Totally Deprived.

Wow, this was a Quickie for sure… You will not need a fireplace to keep you nice and hot… Just read this story… Now, I will just tell you that (if you did not read the blurb above) this book does contain f/f… So, just in case girl on girl love is not your thing… You will not offend me by just stopping by to say Hi! 🙂 Hugs and love to you! And maybe one day you will not mind reading girl on girl love!

This book is centered around Shelly wanting to give her man a dream come true… Now to most men, this is like a freaking dream come true.. I mean, how many men want to watch their woman with another woman.. Especially if they have had a past together… They know each other like the back of their hands… This tale takes two friends who apparently parted ways… but on graceful enough terms to rekindle their passion for each other…

This book is also told through Chad’s eyes… So, please do not hate on it being from a man’s point of view. He is one man who is getting his world rocked and poor man had no clue what was in store for me when he knocked up on his girlfriend’s door… Unbeknown to him ~ he was about to get rocked the hell out of his world… So, shell shocked and surprised he was…

Wow, this sure is a quickie story. I will just start this review with powerful words… If your man wants to read what you are reading, get him this book. Believe me, he will be able to relate to this book. I know we all do not want to think that our man thinks of other women, but when “the shoe is on the other foot” I only have two words for you – GERARD BUTLER… Okay, so as I was saying, this would be right up his alley 🙂

This is a new to me author and I was very entertained by Ms. Kate. She has a wonderful voice when writing. Her characters are real; well, as real as they can be on paper. But you will relate to them.
