blurb

PAIGE

When Erik left town, I thought my world had ended. Even at the tender age of ten I knew how hard my life would be without him. And as I grow older, as the letters between us became sparse to nonexistent, I can’t help but feel like a wall has been built around my heart.

There is only one boy for me, and I know I’ll never see him again.

ERIK

She was my best friend, the only person I knew I couldn’t live without.
But we had to leave each other.

Time went on, we drifted apart, and it always felt like I’d left a piece of myself back with her. But I’m a man now, a wounded Marine, and fate brings me back to the one girl who completes me.

Paige has always been mine, and now it’s time to prove that to her.

Warning: Tighten that seat belt because you’re about to go on an over-the-top, totally unbelievable ride. Featuring a possessive and devoted hero who saved himself for that one girl, it’ll still have that sugary-sweet aftertaste you crave. Don’t forget that cold glass of water, because you’ll need it for the heat this book—and Erik—is packing.

excerpt
I don’t know how long I stood there, watching the road, maybe thinking Paige would come back, like it wouldn’t be weird between us. I didn’t want it to be like that, but I guess it was unavoidable.

“You got it bad,” Will said from behind me, and I clenched my jaw. Staying with them and my aunt was temporary, as in I was already going to look at a few places for my mom and me. Yeah, moving back to town had been short notice, and yeah, they were family, but Will and Cal were already riding my ass, and I hadn’t even been here that long.

I should have told him to fuck off, but instead I just turned from the street and made my way up the porch. My mind was on Paige, how pretty she was, how grown up she’d become. She wasn’t that cute little girl anymore. She was a woman, a gorgeous woman.

And mine.

First thing I needed to do was find a car. I hadn’t needed one, not since I was in the military, away from home, with nowhere to go. But this was different. I was back in Blue Springs, Paige was here, and I needed to be able to get to her.

But on that thought I remembered what she’d said. She had a place, her own place. But did she share it with someone? I’d looked to see if she wore a ring—which she didn’t—but that didn’t mean she wasn’t taken.

No, she’s mine. She’ll only ever be mine.

“Fuck,” I mumbled under my breath and headed toward the back room. I also needed to get out of here, like yesterday. I knew my mom liked being here with her sister, but I couldn’t stand Cal and Will. One of these days they’d push me, say the wrong thing, and I’d beat their asses.
Once in the room I shut the door and grabbed my cell. I stared at Paige’s number, wanting to call her, wanting to be with her even though she’d just left. And even if she was with someone, I didn’t know if I could just let it go. I didn’t know if I could just stand back and be her friend, even though I’d said I would take her any way I could. I meant it when I said I wanted her as mine, and that had just cemented itself back at the diner when I saw her for the first time again after so long.

Meet me tonight for dinner?

I shouldn’t have sent her that message. She’ll think I’m a fucking creep for sure. Damn it. I ran my hand over my hair, breathing out, feeling tightness in my chest. It was the same feeling I’d gotten when I first saw her at the diner. It was the same sensation I’d gotten when I watched her drive away all those years ago. I rubbed my chest at the same time my cell vibrated.

Paige: I’d love to.

We had a lot to talk about, a lot of time to make up for. I just hoped she hadn’t fallen in love with someone, because she was meant for me.

We were meant for each other.

New Release: Experienced (A Real Man #4) by @JenikaSnow

blurb

He’ll show her how a real man treats a woman…

SABINE

I’ve never known how good it could feel to be taken care of by a man who knew what he was doing.

Until I was with Hugo…

HUGO

I was older than her.

She was innocent, hadn’t experienced all that life had to offer.

I could give her that experience.

Sabine consumed my thoughts, made me desire nothing else but her. No other woman compared to her, and because of that, I haven’t been with a woman for four years, which was also the last time I saw Sabine.

But I was done feeling guilty for what I desired. I wanted Sabine in my life, by my side, and I was about to make that a reality.

I didn’t know if she’d ever been treated the way a female should … but I was going to show her how a real man takes care of a woman.

Warning: If you’re into super short, hot, dirty reads containing a much older hero and younger heroine … keep on reading. This story is guaranteed to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, give you that sweet HEA we all deserve, and make you want to search out an experienced older man for yourself.

excerpt

Hugo

She’s all I thought about for the last four years.

Since I left after her high school, and eighteenth birthday, celebration, Sabine had been on my mind  .

  Four. Fucking. Years.

I closed my eyes and pictured her.

  I always thought about Sabine.

I could picture her long black hair … strands I wanted to wrap around my hand as I made love to her.

I imagined her blue eyes staring up at me, wide, pleasure-filled, as I thrust into her body.

I could picture my hands, mouth, and tongue moving along her womanly curves.

Four years of me wanting a woman I knew I shouldn’t desire, but whom I couldn’t get out of my head.

She was so much younger than I was, but that wasn’t an issue. The age difference didn’t bother me in the slightest. She was a woman, twenty-one years old, and she was smart, perfect for me. Sabine had always known what she wanted out of life, and she’d excelled at what she put her mind to. I might not have seen her in years, but I knew she had only gotten more determined in that regard. That wasn’t a trait someone just let go of.

I also didn’t care that she was Leo’s—a family friend’s—daughter. Maybe I should have, but I didn’t let a complication like that stop me from aching for her in a way that made it hard to think of much else.

It had been four long years since I’d even been intimate with a woman. I just couldn’t bring myself to go there with them, not when the only one I wanted was Sabine.

After all this time, I knew she was the only one I’d ever want, and as experienced in life as I was, I knew this wasn’t a passing desire.

I ran a hand over my face, breathing out wearily.

“Would you like something else to drink, Mr. Romanov?”

I looked up at the flight attendant and shook my head. “No, thank you, Marcella.” I had three more hours to go before I landed in New York, and another hour drive to get to Leo and his wife Annabelle’s house. And by the time I got to their home, it would be too late to see anyone really.

Getting a hotel would have been a simpler option, but it was out of the question, not when Leo and Annabelle insisted I stay in their guesthouse. I knew better than to argue with either of them.

I should have been here earlier.

I’d missed Sabine’s graduation, and even though I’d known about this event for some time, switching my business obligations around hadn’t been possible. That didn’t stop me from feeling this immense guilt.

I reached into my pocket and pulled out the white leather box. Opening it, I stared down at the diamond tennis bracelet I’d bought for her.

Sabine was the only woman I’d ever given jewelry to, and although it might seem like an innocent gesture, a congratulatory gift for her accomplishments, the necklace, and now this bracelet, meant more to me than she’d ever know.

She meant more to me than she’d ever know.

* * * Sabine * * *

It had been four years since I’d seen him.

Four years of me wanting a man I knew I could never have.

Four years of me comparing every guy I tried to have a relationship with to him … Hugo.

I’d told myself I needed to wake up and realize I could never have a man more than twice my age who was my father’s lifelong friend.

But telling myself what I should and shouldn’t want was a lot harder to accomplish when what I wanted was unattainable, yet still within my reach.

I stared across the table at my parents. We’d finished throwing a small dinner party in celebration of me graduating college with my bachelor’s degree, and now it was just the three of us. I should be focusing on graduate school, getting my master’s in education, but knowing Hugo was coming in tonight was all I could think of.

  Hugo Romanov.

Just thinking his name had my skin prickling with awareness, had every part of me speeding up.

Adrenaline rushing through my body caused this reaction.

“He’ll be here sometime tonight, although I’m not sure what time.”

I looked at my father. He leaned back in the dining room chair and lifted his wine glass to his lips. He looked over at my mother, who also had a wine glass in front of her.

“It’s been what, four years since he was last in the States?” my mother asked.

My father nodded. “Yes, for Sabine’s high school graduation. Although he came back about a year ago on business, he couldn’t take the extra time to fly out to see us.”

My heart sped up knowing he’d been here, probably states away, yet still closer than when he was in Europe.

“I bet you’re excited to see Hugo again,” my mother said and took a sip of her wine, looking over the rim at me.

I shrugged, not about to show how nervous I was, or how much anticipation thrummed through me.

We’d finished off a bottle of wine between the three of us, and the second bottle was already half empty. I reached out and ran my finger along the base of my glass. “It’s been a long time,” I replied softly, thinking about the last time I’d seen him. I remembered vividly the way he smelled of dark and delicious cologne. But he’d also smelled of aged books and experience, and it was such a heady, intoxicating aroma. On instinct, I lifted my hand and touched the rose gold feather necklace he’d given me. It had been a present from Hugo not just for graduating high school, but also making valedictorian.

I’d worn it every day since receiving it.

“You two always had this special bond.”

I looked up at my father after he spoke. “Not really.” He might have been more of a presence in my life when I was younger, and he lived in the States, but I’d never say we’d been close.

“Of course you did. Hugo would spend hours with you at the kitchen table teaching you Russian.

Remember?” I did, vividly. Our last lesson had been when I was seventeen years old, and he’d come to visit after being away on business in Russia.

“That’s because Dad wanted him to make me more ‘rounded’.” I smiled at my dad. He’d been teasing when he’d made the suggestion I start learning a language, but Hugo had taken it seriously. For the next two years, from the age of fifteen to seventeen, whenever Hugo was in town, he’d spend hours with me, teaching me his native language—one of the four he spoke fluently.

The truth was I could only speak a handful of Russian phrases, mainly because I wasn’t able to concentrate when he was near.

But I’d tried to come to the realization that my personal reality did not include Hugo.

And even after all these years, it was still hard to make that sink in.

blurb

He’s been alone for years. Marooned on a deserted island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, he long ago let go of the pleasantries and mannerisms of civilization. He’s become a savage, driven by instinct and impulse—more animal than man.

Then she washes up on his island, and everything changes. Her survival becomes more important that his. Her needs more essential than his own. Her pleasure more imperative than his.

This woman becomes his whole life. Not because she’s the first woman he’s seen in years, but because she’s the one he’s spent his whole life waiting for.

But will she feel the same? Will she be able to bring the man back from the savage? Or will she bring even more of the savage out of the man?

Either way, this tropical island’s about to get even hotter.

excerpt

“Make love to me,” I whispered, slowly wrapping one finger at a time around his erection straining through his loincloth. It was the first time he’d let me touch him like this, and feeling his arousal in my palm spurred my own into uncharted territory until I was consumed by my need.
His head fell back when I stroked him. “Right now, after everything”—he spoke as though each word were a chore to utter, his forehead creasing deeper with every slide of my hand—“I couldn’t make love to you the way a woman like you deserves.”
Instead of disappointing me, the prospect of the alternative made my need grow. “Why not?”
His arms fell back, his hands curling into the sand like he was trying to get a good grip as my touch became stronger. “I’ve been alone for years . . .” He thrust his hips when I circled his head with my pinkie. “I’ve been fantasizing about you for weeks . . . I couldn’t make love to you the way you mean.”
I needed to feel him, flesh to flesh—I needed to feel his steel sliding against the soft flesh of my palm. Working the ties of his loincloth free as quickly as I could, I let it fall to the sand, exposing his body.
“Then what would you do to me?” My teeth sank into my lip as my eyes dropped to his manhood. Everything about him was large and male. Every part of him made me feel sick with want. “What have you been fantasizing about?”
Unable to stare without touching any longer, I moved my hand back to his straining cock, drawing a moan from both of us.
“I’ve lived as a savage for years. I’ve lived an existence more animal than human. That’s the way I want to take you.” His eyes clamped closed as I stroked him. “I want to throw you onto all fours, shove between your legs, and fuck you until you can’t walk. I want to come inside you until I can’t come anymore and every last seed in my body is swimming in yours. I want to mate with you. I want to breed you. I want to mount you and make you scream my name while I take your body again, and again”—something dark flashed in his eyes when they opened, his cock throbbing in my hand—“and again.”
I wasn’t sure when I’d stopped breathing, but I had. I was so wet from his words and feeling his cock in my hand that it was running down my legs. “Then what are you waiting for?”
Glancing at the ground behind me, he lifted his chin. “I’m waiting for you to get on all fours and show me you want the same.”
My nipples hardened at the rumble in his voice. Letting go of his cock, my hands slipped under the shoulders of the coat, slowly letting it fall down my arms. When Grant’s gaze dropped from my face, his throat bobbed as he roamed my chest. As his eyes dropped down my stomach, landing on my pussy, the corners of his eyes creased. I looked down with him, unable to miss the glistening wetness coating my body down there. The ache to feel him moving inside me became too much to bear. Turning around, I slowly lowered onto my hands, digging my knees into the cool sand.
Behind me, Grant’s breaths were ragged as I heard him stir from his position. He didn’t touch me as he moved up behind me, making me feel like I was choking on my heartbeat. “Make sure this is what you want.”
“Why?” I panted, tipping my hips up higher, needing him to sheath himself inside me before I passed out.
“Because once I have you, I’m going to want you again right after. And again right after that.” His palms drilled into the meat of my backside, kneading me roughly. “You give me your body now, you’ll give it to me again. Whenever I ask you to. Whenever I feel my cock stir, it will be your body that sates it.” One of his hands skimmed down my ass, pausing outside of my opening. He grunted when he felt fresh wetness spill from me. “I’ve been patient for a long time. Let me mate with you like the animal I’ve become, and I’ll never be patient again. Are you sure you’re ready for that? Are you sure you know the magnitude of my need?”

excerpt

Chapter 1

*Mary-Jane*

“How did you get yourself into this, Mary-Jane?” I ask myself for the twentieth time today. I was set to arrive at my new temporary place of employment in a little over two hours and dread was weighing heavily on me. I just hope the clothes I brought will do well to hide this little baby bump that keeps getting bigger and bigger by the day. I’m running out of time.
I let out a long sigh as I absently rub my hand over the bump. This little boy has become my whole world. In all my planning I never thought this would happen. Just when I thought I was getting something I’d wanted so dearly, everything else in my life started to fall apart. Just goes to show you: you can plan everything how you like, but someone else can come to kick it out from under you, and you have to try and pick the pieces up the best you can. This time, though, it isn’t my pieces I’m picking up. I have a baby to protect and to make a life for.
“I promise, little man, I won’t let anyone take you from me.” I rest both hands on my stomach, praying my words are true and that I’m not making a giant mistake by going to see the one person who could take my baby away from me. My heart clenches at the thought of losing him. I can’t. I won’t, I correct myself. Losing this baby isn’t an option.
Someone couldn’t be that heartless, could they? To take a baby from its mother? I’m not so sure here, though. If what I’ve found out about my baby’s father is true, then heartless is pretty damn close.
Last week my doctor told me that they’d made a mistake. A giant one. They’d given me a specimen from the wrong sperm donor. Someone who wasn’t a willing donor at all.
I’d gotten two giant kicks in one day. I’d lost my job and was possibly losing my child. The clinic said they had to inform the man who’d donated. I’d asked for his name and requested they give me some time before they contacted him. They were reluctant at first, but they’d given me both after I threatened a lawsuit.
After a little online stalking I’d found my baby’s father. When I’d seen who he was, I’d lost my breath. He was known all over Texas, or so it seemed with all the articles a few years back. He used to ride bulls, but now he owns a big ranch down south, almost two hours from here. The place I’ll be calling home for a little while.
A lot of the articles weren’t flattering. He was one of the best bull riders, having won dozens of competitions, but he had a reputation to go along with it. Many articles and posts I found called him an arrogant asshole. Meaner than the bulls he rode. It made me think he wasn’t going to have any compassion when it came to this situation. Or maybe he’d just sign on the dotted line and let me and my son go.
Or he could try to take him from me. He had the money. The thought of running kept fluttering through my mind. I had money saved up, and made a small profit when I’d sold my little house just two days ago, but something about running felt wrong.
I had to be sure that if I did choose to run, I was making the right decision. That I was protecting my baby, making sure we could be together. That’s why I had to do this. I had to go meet this man. See who he was in person, because you can’t always believe rumors.
Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. Ideally, maybe we could share custody. I could get a place in town not far from his ranch. Find a local job there and we could do this together, if that’s what he wanted. It wasn’t what I signed up for when I’d decided I wanted a baby. I’d made the choice to go this alone, which I’ve been doing my whole life.
What if he has a wife or girlfriend? The thought makes my stomach turn. I could be turning their lives upside down. Then my baby would have another mom. A lump forms in my throat. It feels like every time I get something good going in my life, someone or something is trying to rip it from me.
I searched and searched for anything on him with someone else and came up with nothing. I’d read article after article on his bull-riding days and never was a woman mentioned or pictured with him. He had a hard look on his very handsome face, so I’m not sure I’d want to stand next to him and pose for a picture either.
It was hard to see his face in a lot of pictures with the cowboy hat, but I could always see the grim line of his mouth and hard jaw. It always seemed locked in place. You’d think if you just won some big competition you’d at least smile or something. Nope. Not him. Picture after picture he still had that hard, locked jaw. Almost like he couldn’t talk. He’s scary and intimidating. I don’t know how I’m going to tell him about this baby.
Worse is thinking maybe he does want to be in this baby’s life and he’ll be cold and hard to my little boy. I’d grown up with a father like that and it wasn’t easy. Even to this day I can’t say whether or not he loved me. Did he take care of me? Yes. But I feel more like he put up with me because he had to. It didn’t matter if I was there or not.
I think I would rather him at least be angry or something. The indifference and coldness left me empty and numb.
What I did find during my internet search was a job opening on his ranch. Someone to help around the house for the summer and do some of the books. I could get an up-close look at the father of my child before I had to tell him the truth.
“Ma’am, I think that’s everything.” I look up at one of the movers who’s been packing up my stuff to put into storage. I take the clipboard he’s holding out and sign on the dotted line. He hands me the key to the storage unit they’d put it all in.
My hand closes around the key that holds almost everything I own except two suitcases I have packed away in the trunk of my car. Even the stuff for the baby room I’d started to put together has been packed away in here. I hold back a tear, not wanting to make this poor man uncomfortable.
“Thank you,” I tell him, handing back the clipboard.
He nods before turning to leave.
I stand in my empty house. The place where I thought I’d be raising my son. A home that would have been filled with so much love. He’d never feel the coldness like I had.
Even without the donor mix-up I would have been leaving anyway. I’d moved to this little town because I wanted to get away from the big city. I dreamed of living somewhere where everyone knew everyone. I wanted to have a family in a place like this.
Problem was, I couldn’t find anyone I wanted to have a family with.

excerpt

Chapter 1 *Alexander*

“I just want it torn down,” I tell Matt, the agent I bought the estate from, as I exit the car. I toss my suit jacket into the back seat, then roll up my sleeves. The house¾if you can even call it that¾looks like a fucking castle. It sits twenty miles outside of Chicago, and it’s the perfect spot for my planned private landing strip for the Boeing 747 I bought last month. I like privacy and this will give me that. The fewer people I have to deal with, the happier I am. I like to go to work and back home, but sometimes travel is unavoidable.

There’s enough space here to build the landing strip and keep the house, but there’s no need for it. I’d just have to hire people for its upkeep and I’d never use it. Might as well rip the thing down. Not like I have a need for a place like this. It’s breathtaking with an old-school feel, but my condo in the city is all I need. I live alone and I’ve never met a woman who tempted me to change that.

I’m doomed to be alone and I’ve settled into that. Work is my life. The thoughts of ever having a family of my own are long forgotten, though my mother still thinks there’s hope. I can’t even count how many times she’s told me the story of when my father found her working in some small coffee shop and practically picked her up and carried her out and he’d never let her go. Which is true. He has her tucked away on a nice little island right now, enjoying retirement.

“I thought maybe you should look inside first. You bought the whole estate as is, and I’m guessing there are still a lot of personal items inside. Maybe even art.”

I glance around the property. I hadn’t even looked at a single picture before I bought it. Just found out the land size and purchased it unseen. But looking around now, I can tell the place has a history to it. A stone wall surrounds the home, which is located in the center of the property. It looks like a fortress. It’s beautiful, but more than one man would ever need.

I run my eyes along the front, counting the windows and sizing up just how big it might be on the inside. Then I catch something out of the corner of my eye. Movement.

“It’s empty?” I ask, looking back over at Matt.

“Yes. There had been some staff still servicing the property, but they were informed that yesterday was their last day,” Matt says.

“I saw it, sir,” Black, my head of security, says, coming to stand next to me.

“Let’s go find our trespasser then.”

We head for the front door, my interest now piqued. Might as well take a look around if I’m going inside. I’ve already come all this way, and I cleared my morning schedule for this little trip.

“Sir, maybe I should¾

I cut Black off by just holding up my hand as I continue walking towards the front door. He might be my head of security, but I still do what I want, even when he advises otherwise.

“Keys,” I snap, turning a little for Matt to throw them to me. I catch them and slide the key into the lock and the door pops open with a loud creak.

Then all the air leaves my lungs at the sight before me.

Standing at the top of the stairs is a young woman. The sunlight streaming in through the open door hits, and it creates a halo of light around her. Her hair is dark as chocolate and such a contrast to her creamy white skin. And even from this distance, I can see she has the brightest blue eyes I’ve ever seen. Her full, lush lips part just a little as she stares at me. My eyes travel down her body to the white nightgown that looks transparent in the light, showing off all her curves.

I feel myself harden at just the sight.

“Shit,” I hear Black say from behind me in awe.

It makes blood rush to my ears and jealousy course through my body like I’ve never felt before. It wraps around my heart, making me clench my fists.

Mine.

The word pounds though my head. I’ve bought the estate and everything in it. As of yesterday it’s all mine. That makes her mine, too. I can’t stop the irrational barbaric thought from forming.

“Out!” I shout to the room, making Matt jump and Black pull his eyes from the girl and take a step back. “Out.” I growl it this time, and both turn and step out of the door. I slam it shut and click the lock back in place.

I can’t bring myself to turn around. She looked like a fucking angel. Maybe she isn’t real. She looked too perfect to be real. The thought makes the air leave my lungs again. Slowly, I turn, and this time she’s closer than before, having come down the stairs. Her head is cocked to the side like she’s studying me.

I find myself taking the ten steps to get closer to her, stopping at the bottom of the stairs. It brings us eye level with each other. She just stares at me. Her eyes seem so big and bright now, her long black lashes giving her a doe-eyed look.

Her hand comes up, reaching out and touching my face. She runs it along the stubble on my jaw, and her mouth parts a little as her tongue comes out, wetting her bottom lip. It takes everything in me not to groan at the simple action. I want to taste her plump bottom lip for myself, then push my tongue into her mouth.

“You came,” she says, her voice filled with wonder. The sound is soft and sweet.

“I came?” I ask, not understanding what she means. She just nods her head, her dark curls bouncing with the movement. I can’t stop myself from reaching out and grabbing one. She doesn’t flinch like a lot of people do around me. I’m a big guy and my size can be intimidating. The scar running from the top of my left eyebrow down to my jaw doesn’t help, but she doesn’t seem scared at all. No, she’s looking at me like I’m looking at her. I’m no angel, far from it. But I like her eyes on me.

“Like in my books. You look just like I thought,” she says. Then she throws herself at me. She wraps her arms around my neck, taking me by surprise.

excerpt

“God, you’re so beautiful. I love you,” I say, tucking her dark hair behind her ear.

She bites her lip again, and I think she’s finally going to tell me. But just as she takes a breath, the door to the range opens.

“Yo, Casper! You done?” Knox shouts from the doorway, and I want to punch him in his face.

He can’t see us from where we’re standing, but she was so close to telling me. He knows we were in here fucking, so what could he possibly want?

“What the fuck do you want, Scribe? I’ve still got Vince twelve inches deep!” There’s a hint of relief in her voice, and I wonder if she’s thankful for the interruption.

“Pres wants a meeting.”

I hear the door shut, and we’re alone again. The moment has passed, and she’s not going to tell me right now, but hopefully it’ll happen soon. I can’t stand the wait much longer.

“Hey, everything okay?” I ask, holding her chin and kissing her lips softly.

“Yeah, just have some stuff I need to take care of.”

I pull out of her, and a rush of her cum and mine flows out behind me. She moves her shorts over. They’re soaked in the crotch, and she lets out an annoyed sigh.

“Don’t act like you don’t love that,” I say, reaching down and rubbing the wet shorts against her pussy. “I fucking love knowing my cum is smeared all over you.”

“Fine,” she says giving me a wicked smile and another quick kiss. “But you’re cleaning me up after this meeting is over. Get that tongue ready, Shield.” With that, she turns to walk out.

Tucking myself into my jeans, I follow behind her, smacking her ass. “Anything you want, baby.”
