Anita Cox - The Beginning (Dirty White Candy #1)The Beginning, Dirty White Candy, Book #1

Genre: Contemporary, Menage
Content Notes: Intense, Light BDSM, F/F, M/F/F, D/S Elements, Polyamory

Traded in for a younger, newer model by the only man she’s ever made love to, thirty-something Candy Kavana finds herself craving human interaction of the carnal nature. Shy and sexually repressed, Candy turns to her best friend, Stacy, for advice. And what advice it is!

Candy nervously dives into sex therapy and what she discovers is more than mind-blowing sex. She discovers a side of herself she never dreamed existed. Now that she’s wet her whistle, she can’t get enough. Just how far is Candy willing to take her sexual exploration?

This book was given to me for my honest thoughts… so here goes.

This is my first book by Ms. Anita and I have to say that her dedication to her husband gave me the giggles. I knew at that moment we would be good friends… lol! So my new friend, her book, and I cuddled up together and things gotta little hot. Hell, hot is being mild. Ms. Anita’s style of writing is definitely refreshingly for the independent woman of today. Her writing is witty, on point and just oh my… yea… just that good.

Candy is a delicious treat in the world of “what we want, we want it now” and “all the information you want to know is at the push of a button.” She is naïve when it comes to herself – sexually. Some women are more advanced in their sexual knowledge than some, so the idea of her being a little lost was not hard to believe… But her course of action is one…. Well, one best read. She had me giggling and getting hot in the same sentence, lol. Candy is someone you will want to meet…

The journey you will go on with Candy is one that you will not forget. Hell you may even want to create your own journey. Life sometimes hands us crappy moments but those moments make us stronger. Candy had a little liquid courage to take the steps needed to make her stronger but she did them… and Damn did this woman fly!

This is the first in a series, so I am definitely intrigued as to what is to come to Candy… or what makes her come **big grins** This book is not for the faint of heart. If you can’t handle the bed a rocking… don’t go a reading… Be ready to tie someone up and spank some bottom! Oh and I have to say that if female/female loving is not your cup (if it is not… then we need to talk) then just be prepared for a few scenes of it… Ms. Anita crafted those scenes VERY well!

  1. OMG This review is awesome and sooo right on! I’m reading this book right now and Soooooo loving it! “The Beginning” is done with crafted writing, a seductively creative mind, and has a very original storyline! I love the author’s (Anita Cox) voice. The sex scenes ARE HOT and fill your mind with wild possibilities! This is a great book and one NO ONE will want to pass up! If it’s not on your TBL get it on there and if it is on your TBL get up and go BUY it…you’ll be glad you did!
MY vote goes with Miss Cecile’s, I give Anita Cox’s book “The Beginning” A Miss Smutty Hussy’s rating of 5 Sizzling Panties!
