Hi A.C., welcome to All I Want and More
Why don’t you tell us a little about yourself…. Something that we cannot Google about you, lol! Since you are a new to me author, I am hoping to bring you to the light of others! So share away!
Well I have a pretty active online presence. There’s not much that you can’t Google to find out about me. Let’s see… Something not writing related. I was/am a geek and not just the self-proclaimed variety. I used to beta test video games.
Tell us a little about your book?
Ok, here’s my little blurb on Eternal Ever After.
His past holds a secret…
Arie Cush has a secret that he thought he’d left behind. When his past follows him to Chicago he must protect someone that reminds him of all the painful memories he’s tried so hard to forget. But when every touch from her sets his heart and body on fire–he finds it hard to maintain his aloof façade.
that becomes her nightmare.
Holly Ellis has secrets of her own. An encounter with the handsome stranger who frequents her coffee shop reveals a vampire with baggage. Even though it might be more than she bargained for, she can’t resist the one person who understands her. But her life is in danger and a supernatural threat could reveal the underground world of vampires to humankind in this Gothic Cinderella re-telling.
How much emotion does it take from you to write?
I like to write characters that I can connect with and that I hope readers can make a connection with too. Holly didn’t have it easy… Of course, it’s a Cinderella re-telling so her life story isn’t going to be easy. But she had a pretty gritty start and you really get to feel that she deserves a happily ever after.
What is your favorite part of the book?
The scene when Holly first discovers that Arie is a vampire. It was a really fun to write 😉
What was your favorite scene to write?
My favorite scene to write was when they had dinner at WaterScapes which is actually based on a real restaurant in Chicago. A restaurant that is not called WaterScapes 😉 I’m a bit of a foodie.
You can only pick 3 words to describe your main characters, What would they be?
Holly: foot-in-mouth, tomboy, curious
Arie: damaged, practical, alpha… and ok… really smoking-hot
But you said only three 😉
~
Which was the easiest character to write and the hardest ~ and why?
Victoria… She’s both the easiest and the hardest to write all rolled into one. She’s the classic side-kick of the story. You get to learn more about her in the erotica prequel, Cursed Ever After, and her story is the one that really gets to me. I feel like there is more that needs to be written about her. Someone on Goodreads even asked me for more about her. I have a notebook and I’ve jotted a few things about her story before she became a vampire, about her life as a witch. But that story would have to be a historical paranormal and I’m just not quite ready to delve into it. I will tell you that there will be a lot more of her in the second Ever After book.
How many books are you shooting for in this series?
I don’t really plan or plot. It starts as a feeling and the story grows as I’m typing. The characters tend to do things that I don’t always expect or anticipate. I guess I’ll write as many books in the series as there are stories to tell.
What are you currently working on?
I am working on the second book in the Ever After series. I’m not going to share a release date. See… I find that if I don’t make promises, I don’t break any 🙂
Do you have anything due to release soon?
Wheew… Are you kidding me? I just got this out! Give a gal some time to breath. No, seriously, I’m always writing. I don’t write as fast as some but I write for as long as it takes to make sure I’m giving you my best and not a work in progress.
What’s one thing that you enjoy about writing?
Writing just is… It’s not something I do but it’s something I have to do. And it’s brought so many wonderful people into my life that I would have never met otherwise.
Since we’re cover hussies….what was your first impression of your cover?
I LOVE my cover. I just hope that readers will understand that this is a steamy romance. It’s not like my erotica short stories although the tone is the same and the frequency of sex isn’t what you would find in an erotic romance. It’s the development of a romantic relationship that contains more explicit language and sex. The sex is not an inherent part of the story, character growth, or relationship development, and if removed you still have an amazing plot. And hopefully the same characters from Cursed Ever After that readers have grown to love. I hope they can make the jump from erotica to steamy.
What do you prefer ebooks or paperbacks?
I love my Kindle. Nuff said 😉
Is there a genre you would like to write but are a little apprehensive to try?
Contemporary… I love to read it but I’m not sure what to do without any fangs, shifters, or supernatural powers. I’m a little intimidated.
Okay…. personal time!!!! Oh yeah, I go there… Hahah…
If you thought you were safe… Nah… Forgot it… Not a chance! We will start off slow and easy, I promise!
What is on your night stand/dresser?
Right now? Wait… Is this some kind of trick question? My Kindle, an empty wine glass, a jar of change, and a lamp.
What are you listening to you right now?
I’m listening to the wind blowing outside the window next to my desk as you’re interviewing me. Yes, really.
What are you reading right now?
I’m reading Summer Sins by Kathy Kulig, my critique partner, which I downloaded off of NetGalley. It’s getting me all hot and bothered.
What is your favorite season? Holiday?
It’s a toss-up between the 4th of July and Halloween. I love fireworks but I also like playing dress-up too.
And what has been your best b-day present ever?
My oldest was born three days before my birthday. So I took him home from the hospital on my birthday. I’d have to say that was my best birthday present ever.
Hard and Quick Time! Don’t think… Just answer! You know you do… Quickie time… Think fast….
Are you a quickie kind girl? I have three kids. Two that are under the age of five… that goes without saying. Next.
Dark or Milk Chocolate? Dark. Or Truffles. Or Chocolate Covered Strawberries.
Whipped or Melted? Are we talking about floggers or wax play here?
Straight up or with a twist – sex? Dark and twisty.
What’s ur fave drink – in a glass or on him? Either or… I’m flexible that way.
Spank or Flogger? Both.
Junk or Health Food? I tried to make my family go vegan but they all protested.
Ties or Chains? Anything that bends really. Loop, swoop, and pull tight 😉
Leather or Lace? Honestly, go back to questioning me about the quickies. Neither most of the time. What’s the point? It’s just going to come off anyway.
Soft or Hard… Bed, where was your mind? 😉 Soft. And I must have my body pillow.
Control or Be Controlled? I like to switch 😉
Hot Wax or Whip Cream? Whip cream.
Vampire or Werewolf? I do love my hot alpha vamps…
Twitter ot facebook? Doesn’t matter… You’ll find me both places.
Pinterest..do you pin? Oh, yes. You might find some things that I’ve killed on there.
Thank you for being here A.C. and answering our questions.

Inside Scoop: This story contains bondage, anal play, a M/F primary romance with mild F/F situations.
Warning: This book is fictitious. The bdsm portrayed in this story does not portray the lifestyle. Vampires will be vampires. They don’t exactly stop to discuss a scene, pain thresholds, and there is no aftercare involved. Trust is an intrinsic part of the lifestyle. Use due diligence and research before deciding to make fiction into reality.
Heat Level: This book is a steamy romance. It’s the development of a romantic relationship that contains more explicit language and sex. The sex is not an inherent part of the story, character growth, or relationship development, and if removed you still have an amazing plot.
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.”
–Holy Bible: King James Version
Preface
I never guessed that I could die with a sea of faces surrounding me, all cheering for my death. A woman wearing a jacket dress made of brocade only laughed louder when blood splattered the low square neckline. Where is Arie? I scanned the crowded club but all I could see were pale faces, some half covered by masks.
My time had come and I prayed she would finish me off quickly. The warm trickle of blood ran down my neck and chest, saturating the corset bustier of my gown. It seemed like a shame to ruin such a pretty dress. Strangely, I felt relieved the bodice was black and not a light color that would show a stain.
The fear of dying or more accurately, the fear of not existing, scared me stiff. Perhaps if I had satisfied this existential anxiety with faith I wouldn’t jump from panic to ambivalence. I should be angry at everyone who simply watched. They must think the gruesome display is part of the entertainment for tonight. After the bloody burlesque show I could hardly blame them.
Holly, I gave you the chance to leave. The telepathic transference hardly seemed relevant at this point. I knew if I’d never gone to the Hellfire Club, I wouldn’t be facing death now. Still, if my death meant the killings would stop it seemed justifiable.
“No!” I could barely hear Arie scream above the cheering voices clamoring for attention. The constant drone defies my effort to form coherent thoughts. I looked up and could see him on the balcony. When I blinked he had disappeared into the throng. I could feel the blood continue to trickle down my neck as she drained me. Dizziness threatened to pull me under. The audience applauded her brutality. I crumpled at her feet, looking up at her smile as thin as paper.
Blood. So much blood. My blood.
I didn’t want this to be the story of my death but this part is only a fragment of a narrative as old as time. Its voices fill the shadows with whispers of legend. We are told that the damned cease to exist and those absolved from sin are given eternal life. The damned can never be saved. They walk the earth in an eternal hell. I fear it will be my curse if death doesn’t claim me instead.
